content with — notably Stories and Notes.
Once Instagram’s latest test rolls out globally, users will be
able to share private feed posts with their Close Friends list, too.
Why Is Instagram Testing Feed Posts for Close Friends?
It’s no secret that Instagram users have been posting less to
their feed.
According to a Tweet by
Instagram’s CEO, Adam Mosseri,
friends post “a lot more to Stories and send a lot more DMs than they post to
feed.”
How To Create a Close Friends List on Instagram
So, you want to add your friends (or most engaged customers) to
your Close Friends list?
Here’s how to do it:
1.From your profile page, tap the icon in the top-right
corner:
2.Now, whenever you post content
exclusively for your Close Friends, there will be a green label attached to it.
How To Share an Instagram Story With Your Close Friends List?
1.To share an Instagram Story with your Close Friends, follow
the steps you’d typically take when posting a Story.
2. When
you’re ready to post, tap the “Close Friends” button instead of the “Your
story” option.
3.Now, when your selected friends see your Stories, they’ll see
a green label attached to it — indicating it’s for your Close Friends only.
